Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has nominated Dr. Olufunke Omolara Tayo-Makanjuola for appointment as the Acting State Auditor-General. Her appointment will take effect after confirmation by the Lagos State House of Assembly. Dr. Tayo-Makanjuola was born on September 20, 1974, in Ikate-Elegushi, Eti-Osa Local Government Area of Lagos State. She has earned several academic qualifications, including a Doctor of Business Administration in International Business from Lagos State University, Ojo. These include the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria, the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, the Chartered Institute of Directors, and the Certified Forensic Investigation Professionals in the United States.
