The project is born from the compositions of Diego Cayuela, recorded with many friends and colleagues to bring the songs alive. He started playing the piano and quickly grew to love it. The band didn’t go anywhere, and neither did the bass because he kept it and kept at it. “Honey Lemon Tea” is the penultimate song on the album and displays Cayu’s love of jazz and funk. Cayu owes a clear debt to the Chili Peppers, but his writing and use of keyboards, jazz textures, and changes make this song something altogether different.
