One of the brightest flames in modern music belongs to Shearwater, a band founded in Texas.
“The world we now live in is so confusing,” says Meiburg in the PR material that accompanied the album.
“Racing through the dark ahead/ Saw a path, it made no sense,” Meiburg sings as the guitar hustles along with a cymbal stroke that sounds like panting.
“Nothing is ordinary,” sings Meiburg with his pure tone on the ever-rising “Daydream Unbeliever.”
“Even so,” Meiburg sings in the opener.
