In this remembrance, I will be referring to Sir Gary as simply `Gary’. In his book ‘Gary Sobers’ Most Memorable Matches’ written along Tony Cozier, the chapter ‘A Devil of a Sabina Pitch’ is dedicated to it. The effort did not bear fruit, but it began quarterly phone conversations between Sir Gary, Sir Wes, and myself.
