Kansas State University-Olathe is offering a new, short course that covers common material flow problems and how to diagnose them. “Reliable Flow from Hoppers” will take place from Sept. 22-23, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The course is designed to offer a practical look at material behavior inside hoppers and design factors that support smooth discharge. The course will provide real-world examples and share applicable theory to help attendees work through common flow problems, figure out how to diagnose them, and learn about the tools and strategies that improve consistency and throughput.
