By the water, kids were given the opportunity to try to scuba under the watchful eye of the Warsaw Search and Rescue Dive Team or throw a safety line to the scuba divers when they were finished. Conservation Officers with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources took kids out on the lake in their watercraft used to monitor recreational water activity. Camper Hadley BartonWhen asked for her thoughts, Camper Hadley Barton said, “ Camp HERO is a good, fun experience to learn a lot of new things.” Sheriff Jim Smith echoed this same thought from a different perspective, “(Campers) are learning different trades, how first responders operate.
