News ReleaseBRISTOL – Forest River Inc. plans to permanently close one of its manufacturing facilities in Bristol this fall, resulting in the loss of 105 jobs, according to a notice filed under the federal WARN Act.
The Elkhart-based recreational vehicle company notified the Indiana Department of Workforce Development that operations at Plant 63, located at 2275 Bloomingdale Drive, will permanently cease Sept. 17, 2026.
The closure will eliminate 105 positions across multiple job categories, which were detailed in an accompanying exhibit to the filing.
It is the company’s second round of mass layoffs after the termination of 243 workers in 2024, affecting locations in Elkhart and Bristol.
