Kennebec Journal Readers’ Choice is a community contest highlighting the BEST of what our area has to offer from dining and shopping to arts and entertainment and more. The public will nominate the businesses in approximately 100 categories covering a variety of interests and industries August 7 – August 30. Following the nomination period, up to the top five finalists will move forward to voting, voting period is September 18 – October 11. Winners and finalists will be revealed at a celebratory awards night on Thursday, November 12 at the Augusta Civic Center and then published online and in a special winners print section in a special winners print section after the winner event.
