It’s been a busy summer at schools in Buckingham County as officials performed maintenance work and upgrades to its facilities. B. Heslip, Buckingham County Public Schools director of facilities and food service, updated county supervisors on the work during their July meeting. “We also completed roof repairs and finished (work on the) required sprinklers, and other life safety inspections, to help ensure that the building is safe, and ready to go for the school year. “We also completed required sprinkler and life safety inspections.” “Fire extinguisher and safety inspections are complete, (which) helps us maintain our compliance and ensure the environment of our youngest learners,” he stated.
