Michael B. Jordan is set to lead and direct a new reimagining of “The Thomas Crown Affair,” stepping into a role previously made famous by Hollywood legends Steve McQueen and Pierce Brosnan.
Amazon MGM Studios released the first trailer for the highly anticipated project Thursday, showcasing Jordan as a wealthy businessman who moonlights as a sophisticated art thief.
The upcoming film marks a significant milestone for Jordan, who has frequently described the project as a longtime passion of his.
Beyond starring in the titular role, Jordan is taking the helm as director, following his successful directorial debut with “Creed III.”
