NightDragon CEO Dave DeWalt has been appointed to Air’s board of directorsDeWalt has been the CEO of technology companies McAfee, FireEye and DocumentumThe appointment is the latest of Air’s organizational changes in line with its rebranding into an enterprise readiness firmAir announced Wednesday that it has appointed Dave DeWalt, CEO of NightDragon, to its board of directors. DeWalt joins the board more than a month after Air rebranded from its name Govini, which is part of its strategy to concentrate on its enterprise readiness platform. “Dave’s unparalleled expertise and proven track record in scaling impactful technology companies make him an invaluable addition to our board,” Air CEO Tara Murphy Dougherty remarked. DeWalt has also held more than 40 board positions in companies such as Delta Air Lines and Exelon. His government advisory experience includes the National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee, as well as a term as vice chair of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s Cybersecurity Advisory Committee.
