This spring, Tony Yayo dropped the news that G-Unit’s most iconic Reebok sneaker would return to stores for the first time ever this summer. The G-Unit x Reebok G6 will release in late August in its original white, red and blue color scheme. “When we started selling shoes, the G-Unit shoes and Sean Carter shoes, that was a response to losing the bidding war to LeBron [James],” 50 Cent told Power 106 in 2012. The G-Unit x Reebok G-6 will release Aug. 20 through JD Sports, with close timing likely coming through Reebok’s website and other third-party retailers.
