Beginning at 9 a.m. Thursday, July 30, Surf City Utilities will complete a waterline connection along Steven Street.
(Courtesy of Surf City)SURF CITY — Beginning at 9 a.m. Thursday, July 30, Surf City Utilities will complete a waterline connection along Steven Street.
The work is expected to last four hours and is a part of Surf City’s Water Resiliency Project.
The project includes Surf City Utilities installing a new waterline on the mainland, under the Intracoastal Waterway, east on Roland Avenue and north along N. Shore Drive.
The Supplemental Appropriations for Disaster Relief Act gave Surf City $6.8 million for the project with 25% loan forgiveness.
