David Guetta, Sebastian Tellier, and Justice’s Gaspard Augé are among the many artists who have shared tributes to Belorgey on social media. Augé shared a short farewell message, writing, “Goodbye mon cher ami”, while Guetta described Belorgey as “a true icon of French electronic music”. French President Emmanuel Macron also paid tribute, writing on Facebook that Kavinsky was “a source of French pride forever”. According to a statement shared by French authorities, first responders found “no suspicious elements ​at the ​scene”, per Reuters.
