ROCKLAND — Community Investors of Knox County has received a $5,000 grant from United Way of Mid Coast Maine to help income-eligible individuals and families in Knox County meet urgent needs when no other resources are available. Community Investors of Knox County is a collaborative network of local nonprofit organizations that work together to identify and address unmet needs across Knox County. Support from United Way of Mid Coast Maine will amplify these community donations, enabling CIKC to meet more needs and strengthen its impact throughout the region. Funds from United Way of Mid Coast Maine will help with expenses such as emergency lodging, car repairs or utility payments.
