VERNON, Ill. (WJPF) – A woman has been charged with First Degree Murder in Mt. Upon arrival, a male suffering from a stab wound was located, leading officers to quickly locate and arrest 31 year old Quenzie Favors. He was treated at the scene, then taken to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. Favors was originally taken to the Mt. Vernon Police department, but was later charged and taken to the Jefferson County Jail.
