The 40-mile ultra marathon from Glenbuck Loch to Riverside Stadium in Ayr will be held on September 12, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the race. The route is split into three segments; Glenbuck to Sorn (17 miles), Sorn to Annbank (14 miles), and Annbank to Ayr (9 miles). Drop-bags will be available at checkpoints as long as they have been marked with the appropriate race number and checkpoint number at registration. Riverside Stadium will open from 6.30am on race day. Those taking part are urged to park either at the Stadium or at Ayr Academy’s car park.
