Hydro-Québec has closed registrations for its free heat pump offer after reaching the maximum number of households it can serve for the 2026-27 season.
The utility says the offer generated exceptional interest, with capacity reached for the installation of 20,000 free heat pumps.
Hydro-Québec clarified that its LogisVert program and the Quebec government’s Éconologis program remain available.
Only registrations for the free heat pump offer have ended for the current season.
Launched in late June, the initiative is aimed at helping low- and modest-income households improve their home’s energy efficiency through the installation of free heat pumps.
