A child was seriously injured when the bicycle they were riding collided with a vehicle in Wellesley, Massachusetts, on Thursday morning. Wellesley police said Oakland Street was temporarily closed between Route 9 and Washington Street as officers worked a collision on Oakland Street and Woodlawn Avenue involving a child on a bike and a vehicle. The Wellesley Police Department's Crash Reconstruction Unit is also at the scene and is working on the crash. Oakland Street reopened later in the day, and police said they had no further updates on the child's condition.
