Named the Scenic Eclipse II, the ultra-luxury "discovery yacht" combines high-end cruising with exploration and is equipped with two helicopters on board, a submersible, and 10 dining venues. Launched in 2023, the vessel can carry up to 228 guests in 114 suites, each with a private veranda and butler service. The Scenic Eclipse II offers excursions led by a team of naturalists, marine biologists and historians, and features a submersible capable of diving to 300 metres. The ship can accommodate 200 guests in polar regions and bears a Polar Class 6 rating, the highest ice-strengthening class for vessels. The cruise, named "Taste of the British Isles," stops at Tilbury today before continuing its voyage upstream to London.
