Blackburn Central Library and its branches across Blackburn are hosting a programme of events throughout the summer holidays, centring around the Summer Reading Challenge. A range of free activities will also run across Blackburn Central, Cherry Tree, Roman Road, and other branches. Story Corner takes place at Blackburn Central Library on Saturdays at 12pm. These include reading groups on Mondays and Tuesdays at Blackburn Central, Darwen and Mill Hill, and Brew Time coffee and chat sessions on weekday afternoons. Blackburn Central Library also offers IT drop-ins and digital “DigiPlay” sessions on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
