Planning papers say the opening hours will continue to follow the football calendar, covering first team, under-23s, and ladies’ fixtures, pool team nights, and private functions, with additional daytime slots set aside for community bookings. General opening hours are capped, with the clubhouse allowed to open until 11pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, and earlier closing at other times, and separate morning, afternoon and evening booking windows for community use. Planning officers say that, subject to the conditions, the new clubhouse and community hub will deliver long-term benefits for supporters and residents while keeping the impact on neighbours and the local environment to a minimum.
