Madisonville Police are continuing to investigate two reported sexual assaults at a local nursing home. According to a police citation, officers responded to the Madisonville Manor Nursing Home, where the victim told officers a man entered her room around 11:30 Wednesday night and demanded that she go to the recreation room. The victim claimed the man was armed with a knife and was telling her about his ex-wife being murdered. Police said the victim also reported she was scared and went with him to another room, where she was allegedly sexually assaulted. The man was arrested by Madisonville Police Thursday morning shortly before 10:15 and charged with first-degree rape and third-degree sexual abuse.
