5 Billion Pesos for 226.000 Deportations, thats roughly a good 20.000.- RD Pesos per Deportation on average. The EU would be a happy camper to be able to run deportations that Cheap.
lol.Give human trafficking guides and organizers life sentences instead of a lil questioning and for the given info "deporting" them back to Haiti. For given valuable info that leads to arrests of such organizers, they can get their life sentence reduced to just 15 years behind bars before deported. But barely anything tough happens to those sports. The DR Government spends 5 Billion a year/20K DR Pesos per deporteeand the corrupt DR Government officials get the same in return when the deported people show up at the border again a few days later,as that is what haitians have to pay to get a guide to come back to DR.So at the end, the DR Government is paying those Billions to their own corrupt forces. For example, if a haitian worker without a working visa gets caught here on the East(Higuey and Punta Cana),he gets offered to pay 12-15.000.-Pesos to leave the first detention facility(Police station in Bavaro PC and Higuey),which is for the illegal cheaper than getting sent home to Haiti, where he would have to pay the full "guided tour" again and walk all the way again, while paying the smaller fee here on the East allows him to continue his labour on a contsruction site or finca the very next day without loosing his salary and/or job.
