Construction has officially begun on the new Circle K store and gas station, located at 2820 W. SR 89A on the northeast corner with Southwest Drive. Circle K filed for a two-year extension on receiving its building permit in March. Circle K first applied in March 2022 and was approved by Sedona Planning & Zoning in May 2024, giving the company two years to secure construction permits. The new building is set to replace the West Sedona Circle K currently at 2570 SR 89A. “Other than the time extension request, no additional changes to the original approval are proposed.”
