Callers are claiming to be from the sheriff’s office, saying that the recipient failed to report for jury duty, and a warrant has been issued for their arrest. In some cases, the caller id has displayed the main telephone number of the sheriff’s department (618) 438-4841. The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating these incidents and reminds the public to remain vigilant.
