The AI assistant aggregates deals, provides personalized product recommendations, compares multiple products and searches for items using customers’ uploaded images. Dive Insight:Kohl’s new AI shopping assistant builds on its Gift Finder for Mother’s Day, which launched in April. The retailer is once again leveraging Google’s infrastructure to underpin its new AI shopping tool. Kohl’s is following the footsteps of other major retailers that have created their own AI assistants, including Macy’s, Michaels and Lowe’s.
