Rangers are closing in on a potential £2.5million cash injection as talks over Albania international Nedim Bajrami’s move to Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Taawoun reach an advanced stage.
As first reported by The Scottish Sun, Al-Taawoun originally opened dialogue with Rangers regarding a £2.5m package for the 27-year-old playmaker.
While the Saudi side initially proposed a loan deal with a view to making the move permanent, Rangers have remained adamant that they prefer an outright sale.
