Baker, Louisiana - Sophia Elouise Harden Sadler, a faith-filled, loving, and generous Christian woman,transitioned on July 17, 2026, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Ahman Freeman in Baker, Louisiana. She was born in Plaquemine Louisiana to Daniel Harden and Jessie Mae Boyd. At the age of 9, she met her best friend and the love of her life, Robert Sadler. They were joined in holy matrimony in 1949. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 76 years, Robert Sadler Sr., children Dovusher (Frederick), Paula, Terry, Robert Jr., Patricia (Eddie), Donna (Ahman) and Sid; 18 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren; as well as numerous extended family and friends.
