Plaquemine, LA - A longtime resident of Plaquemine for over 50 years, and native of Mansura, LA, Charles never ventured far from home. Charles relocated the family to Plaquemine in 1973 to continue his work in finance with Commercial Securities and to be near his brother, Anthony. He then branched off into his own finance company, Personal Finance in Plaquemine on Railroad Avenue for many years. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Virginia Bernard Simon; parents, Charles Sr. and Helen Dupuis Simon; brother, Tommy Simon; sister, Kristye Simon Grayson. Survived by daughter, Denise Simon; two sons, Terry Simon and wife Tonya, Blaine Simon and wife Leah; eight grandchildren, Christopher Simon, Catherine Stout and husband Robert, Cameron Cage, Eon Simon and wife Erin, Terryn Simon, Nicolas Simon, Trent Simon and wife Madison and Charlie Simon; great grandchildren, Colton, Nora, Fayah, Ella, Hayes, Ada, Eli, Erza, Parker, Wesley, Reed, Cade and Emily.
