MONROVIA, July 30, 2026 — The Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA) has launched a nationwide Change Readiness Tour to engage employees across the country and assess their preparedness for the Authority’s ongoing institutional transformation agenda. The nationwide engagement follows the implementation of more than 21 reform initiatives across domestic tax administration, customs operations, and corporate services. According to the LRA, the tour was informed by findings from its first Change Readiness Assessment conducted in April 2026. The Change Readiness Tour is intended to place employees at the center of the LRA’s transformation efforts by familiarizing them with the modernization agenda while providing a platform to share concerns, ideas, and recommendations. Speaking at the launch, Danuweli stressed that successful institutional reform depends not only on technology but also on the people responsible for implementing it.
