Nisswa City Park in line for nearly $1 million playground upgrade

NISSWA — Nisswa recently received a $480,678 matching grant to replace the playground equipment at Nisswa City Park. The city will host a public event for people to view playground designs, learn about the project and share feedback from 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, at Nisswa City Park. The Nisswa City Park playground project will replace the existing, aging playground equipment with an enhanced, inclusive playground, as well as improve pedestrian circulation with accessible sidewalks.
