While he said he’s “loved” his time with North Middlesex council, he had people ask him to consider returning to Lucan Biddulph council after Burghardt-Jesson announced she wouldn’t run again. He said he enjoys serving the people, and one of his goals for the municipality is “trying to bring to the community of Lucan Biddulph what it needs in a fair and transparent way.” Hodgins said during his time as mayor of Lucan Biddulph he helped start the process of moving the township offices and library into the former Lucan public school.
