Petrol and diesel drivers across the country have been offered a lifeline at the pumps as one of the UK's most popular supermarkets introduces a fresh fuel offer. Tesco has confirmed that it will offer drivers five per cent off the cost of filling their tank when they spend £60 in store. The offer, which has launched today (July 30), will apply to both unleaded petrol and diesel when someone spends £60 in a single transaction before Sunday, August 16. Drivers could save as much as 8p off the price of a litre of fuel, as motorists continue to face hefty petrol and diesel costs. However, the voucher cannot be redeemed via Pay at Pump, unmanned petrol stations, NI, IOM, or Tesco Express stores selling Esso fuel.
