When they learn it is stone, rather than wood, Mr Chatfield said they were “amazed”.
Mr Chatfield described his work as a “dying artform” that dates back thousands of years.
The craft of stone carving requires patience, tenacity and focus as there is no scope to make a mistake.
“Art is my devotion and work is my prayer”, said Mr Chatfield.
Mr Chatfield also likes to have fun with the art form.
