Niton and Whitwell Parish Council said it ‘fully supports’ the Willis’s scheme in a letter to County Hall. Nicky Downer, National Landscape planning officer, said: “The site lies outside of the IWNL with the fields opposite forming the boundary line. The proposed dwellings are set down from the road at a lower level. There is a mature and high hedge forming the roadside boundary. County Hall’s public consultation on proposal 26/00729/OUT closes tomorrow (Friday, July 31) and a decision is expected on August 26.
