It’s funny how things go, as being fired was one of the best things that could have happened to me. Biggest surprise: When I first finished my draft, I had the opportunity to go to the London Book Fair. Now, waiting for the book to come out into the world, I’m jumpy with excitement and nerves. Lydia Silver, who was then working at Darley Anderson, sent me a message, asking if I’d ever thought of writing a book. Next up: I’m working on the sequel to The Missing Magic of Sparrow Xia at the moment.
