Organisers posted on the Musselburgh Festival Facebook page: “As the dust settles and we draw the curtain on another unforgettable Musselburgh Festival week, our sincere thanks goes out to townsfolk and visitors alike. “Our official party, ahead of this week, have been excellent ambassadors for our town, representing Musselburgh around the borders and beyond. This week they reached the pinnacle of our own festival week and have carried out their duties impeccably. “It is also good to see local business sponsoring events and getting involved with the festival. He also presented the John White Memorial Trophy in a festival 5-a-side football tournament at Musselburgh Athletic FC’s Olivebank Stadium.
