North Berwick traders and council in talks over parking concerns

North Berwick Business Association (NBBA) met chief executive Laurence Rockey last Tuesday to discuss concerns about the town's parking management scheme, with both sides describing the meeting as "constructive".
Susan Oliver, chair of NBBA, said: "We were glad to have met the chief executive and will be working with the council to address issues surrounding confusing [parking] information on the High Street."
An East Lothian Council spokesperson said: “Our chief executive, Laurence Rockey, met with representatives from the North Berwick Business Association (NBBA) on July 21 to discuss matters relating to the new parking management measures in the town.

Members of North Berwick Community Council are also set to meet the chief executive and Norman Hampshire, council leader, to discuss issues surrounding the scheme on August 7.
