The 56-year-old was abruptly stopped by two men while walking on Machan Road in Larkhall around 5.30pm on Monday, July 27 who carried out the serious assault. One of the suspects is described as having brown hair, with no further details available for either of the attackers. Detective Constable Muhammad Yas said: “Enquiries are ongoing to trace those involved in this incident, and we are asking anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
