Foundever, which provides customer service for firms including Virgin Media, has told staff in Motherwell that 220 roles are at risk as it proposes closing its Scottish branch. In a letter seen by Glasgow Live, the company said it was “proposing not to renew the lease on the Maxim site, which is due to expire in November 2026”. Glasgow Live reports that some roles could also move to Newcastle, where a further 41 workers are said to be at risk of redundancy. A spokesperson for Foundever told Glasgow Live: “Foundever regularly reviews how services are delivered to ensure we continue to meet client needs and operate sustainably. “We have shared a proposal with affected colleagues in the UK regarding potential changes to our operating model.
