Cheese Box Glasgow, located in a 1930s police box on Wilson Street, has been granted a Great Taste one-star award for the dessert. Made with simple ingredients, the Basque cheesecake was one of the 380 award-winning products from Scotland to receive a Great Taste award in 2026. Robert Kieszek and Bejoy Sanjeev, co-owners of Cheese Box Glasgow, said: "We can finally make it official: we have the best Basque cheesecakes in Glasgow, quite possibly in the whole of Scotland. "Being recognised with a Great Taste award means everything to independent producers like us. Cheese Box Glasgow is located at 64 Wilson Street and is open Wednesday to Sunday.
