"Wrexham’s food and drink sector is full of hidden gems and a revolution is slowly bubbling underneath the surface of the city." Just a short walk away is Tŷ Pawb, a popular community hub and food court supporting a range of independent traders. Ms Marsh said: "Our affordable shop units and pop-up table offer have helped make Tŷ Pawb an ideal venue for new traders to trial their businesses. Jane Townend, founder and CEO of UareUK, which runs the project, said: "Wrexham's food scene tells the story of the people who call this place home. "If Wrexham were to win the UK City of Culture title, the Government funding could help to attract premium events into the city."
