Llangollen & Corwen Railway will host its Sixties Weekend on August 1 and August 2, offering a nostalgic celebration of the 1960s across its scenic 10-mile line, complete with period trains, vintage buses and immersive historical displays. Unlimited travel is included with Day Rover and Two-Day Rover tickets, allowing visitors to hop between Llangollen, Berwyn, Glyndyfrdwy, Carrog, and Corwen throughout the weekend. Mandy Towers, Llangollen station master and fellow organiser, said: "This is a weekend where people can really explore the whole railway. Highlights include the Trains to the Cambrian Coast exhibition at Llangollen, Crosville heritage bus tours from Corwen, and the Porter's Trolley Museum at Glyndyfrdwy. Driver-for-a-Fiver experiences, vintage vehicle displays and a Saturday Night Dance at Llangollen Station round out the weekend’s offerings.
