Most parents have heard a variation on the phrase “Oooh, terrible twos!”
So, I’m here to bang the drum for a rebrand of ‘terrible twos’ to ‘terrific twos’.
Why are they called the ‘terrible twos’, anyway?
You begin to see yourself – or your partner – reflected back in the mannerisms of a tiny person, or watch as they develop their own interests.
But there will also be laughter until your stomach hurts, fierce cuddles, endless curiosity and the privilege of watching a tiny person discover who they are.
