YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Loop Youngstown will host the first public event at its new cultural center Sunday, Aug. 2. “Reemergence” will begin with a paid writing workshop led by authors Rebecca Evans and Hannah Rodabaugh, followed by a free evening program featuring an exhibition by Loop studio artists, experimental music and poetry readings by local and visiting writers. The event will take place at the center, 805 Mahoning Ave., with the opening reception at 6 p.m. and poetry readings beginning at 7 p.m. Registration and more information can be found at LoopYoungstown.org.
