Upper MiddletownJoseph E. King, 72 of Upper Middletown, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, July 25, 2026. Born in Uniontown on September 19, 1953, Joe was a son of the late George and Betty Wilson King. A 1971 graduate of Laurel Highlands High School, Joe spent 23 years with Walmart, working in several Pennsylvania locations before retiring from the Latrobe store. He wore the title of “Pap” with immense pride and never missed an opportunity to share pictures of his grandchildren. His is survived by his fiancee Sandy Walters and their beloved kitty Little Boy; son Joseph King (Andrea) of Monogah, W.Va.; grandchildern, Tristan and Cadence King; sisters, Linda Wagner of Myerstown, and Nancy King of Uniontown: and nieces Tracy Wagner (Lloyd), Carrie Custer (John) and Karla Wagner.
