Building on the success of a Youth Symposium held in St Lucia in 2025, the Grenada event forms part of a growing regional Public Legal Education and Information (PLEI) initiative that will continue in Dominica and St Vincent and the Grenadines. The symposium reflects the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court’s growing commitment to strengthening public engagement and ensuring that justice extends beyond the courtroom through education, outreach and meaningful dialogue with communities. Building on the success of the Grenada symposium, the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court and the JES-EC project will continue the regional initiative with similar Youth Symposia scheduled to be held in Dominica and St Vincent and the Grenadines in the coming months. Sharing their experience of the event, a youth participant commented: “The highlight of the Youth Symposium for me was the opportunity to engage with passionate young leaders, exchange ideas, and learn from experienced facilitators and speakers. I especially appreciated the discussions on youth leadership, regional collaboration, and creating innovative solutions to challenges affecting young people.
