Hawaiʻi Island police arrested and charged two Mountain View men with multiple drug and firearm offenses following a joint narcotics investigation with Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). On July 22, detectives with the HPD’s Vice Division and HSI, simultaneously executed search warrants at two adjacent residences in the Fern Acres subdivision. At the residence of 49-year-old Shane Dacuycuy, detectives recovered more than 40 grams of methamphetamine and one loaded firearm. At the residence of 59-year-old Raymond Adrian, detectives recovered more than 60 grams of methamphetamine and two firearms, one of which was loaded. Dacuycuy was charged with the following offenses:Two counts of first-degree promotion of a dangerous drugThree counts of ownership or possession prohibitedHis total bail was set at $350,000.
