When LPD officers arrived on the scene around 8:30 p.m., the suspects ran and left the backpacks behind. During the investigation, officers found 17 stolen iPads in the backpack, with a total value of more than $14,000. On Tuesday, Siidi Adan, 18, of Omaha was arrested and taken to the Lancaster County Jail for theft by shoplifting over $5,000, obstructing a peace officer, first-degree forgery and theft by shoplifting. Two Omaha teenagers, 16 and 17, were taken to the Youth Services Center and referred for the same citations.
